Cousin play date

We had cousins Liam and Lillie over for a play date! We had a tea party, ate dinner, then all 3 kids decided to melt down.
At that point it was adult play date, and the wine came out. :o)

Pretty Princess

Why does time seem to be flying by?
Claire is already 7 months (by our weekly calculations)
She weighed in at 15 pounds 13 ounces and 27 inches long.
She is a good little sleeper, napping up to 4 hours a day and sleeping almost 9 hours straight at night, as long as the tooth
fairy isn't in town helping her teeth breaking through another layer of gums.
Sitting by herself, reaching for toys, playing peek-a-boo, and giving kisses are her new tricks...along with
separation anxiety and stranger danger!
I am sorry if Claire has cried when you held her, or looked at you like you have 3 heads.
This stage will soon pass and she will be running and playing with everyone.
I love this age and wish I could freeze these "firsts" moments forever.

Bunny girl

I got these ears for Easter, and I love them so much that we put them on almost every day for a photo op. We're ready for Easter!

Raspberries

Claire is a sponge these days! We have been trying to teach her raspberries, and she has been trying so hard to get them down! She still couldn't quite get it out in this photo, but today she can do them on cue. I will try to load some videos of her mimicing mommy, if blogger will let me. I have so many good videos, but for some reason the site is not working correctly... :o/

This little girl lights up my world. She's my best friend, my everything. I can't imagine what we did before she came.

More food momma!

Claire started eating cereal just a few days shy of six months. It took some time for her to get used to it, but now she absolutely LOVES it. This past week we have started making homemade fruits and veggies and introducing her to them. She prefers her cereal over apples, carrots and pears. We even have to mix her fruits and veggies in her cereal in order to get her to eat them! What a weirdo. :o)

teething?

Dear baby teeth,
we are finally sleeping, all night long! And now you decide to come along and ruin it? Can't you wait another month?! I don't even see visible evidence that you are here, but I know you are lurking behind my little one's gums, waiting to spring on her. I wish you would hurry up already so we can get back to normal....of course until something else changes, and we're thrown off track again.

This is an awful grainy phone photo, but I just had to use it! This was after a nap this big girl took in her crib!

She is my joy and heart's delight

We cannot believe it has already been 4 months since this little beauty came into our lives. She is so amazing, we don't even know what was so important in our lives before she came. At her 4 month check up Claire weighed 14 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 26 inches long. She is getting so big!

Rolling Over!

Claire has been trying and trying to roll over...so much it has been waking her up at night! I cannot believe we actually caught it on video. We were cheering her on all day long...
